15/10/2017 - The End of an Era.

With the sad demise of Monarch Airlines there has been a number of repatriation flights opperating through Coltishall on behalf of Monarch.

Here is a list of aircraft currently flying Monarch repatriation flights:

24/07/2014 - Oh its big!

We can confirm that a lot of new aircraft will be operating from Coltishall.

British Airways will be starting a 2 times weekly flight to Beijing as BAW38 to pay tribute to the B777 that crash landed before landing at Heathrow, they will be using a B777-200 in the World Tail's Canada colours, Ansett Australia are starting a service from Sydney, EL AL will be starting a service from Tel Aviv, GO Fly have finally secured and had delivered their first aircraft, Korean Air are starting flights to both Gimpo and Incheon in Seoul using a B747SP, Skymark Airlines will start a service to Tokyo Narita using a B767-300, TAM Brazil are sending an A330-200 from storage to serve on a flight to Rio De Janeiro, United are starting a number of US routes using a B747-400 and B777-200, Virgin Atlantic have confirmed they will be adding an A340-600 to there fleet serving Coltishall, Polet Cargo Airlines have agreed to support DAS Air Cargo on a few of their "oversized" cargo contracts and Airbus Industries covering the Airbus Beluga flights until they arrive and finally SriLankan Airlines will be sending in the worlds last flying L1011-300 Tristar painted in heritage Air Lanka livery which is how SriLankan Airlines began operations.


02/04/2014 - bmi baby are ready!

bmi baby B737-500's G-BVKB and G-BVKD have been moved from the light cargo apron over to stands 3 and 4 ready for their first flights on monday 5th May.


02/04/2014 - The Biman Tri-Jet is here!

Biman Bangladesh DC-10-30 S2-ACQ arrived at 10:30am as BANGLADESH10 from Shajalal International on her first flight carrying 305 passengers.

She will depart at 13:30pm as BANGLADESH11.


02/04.2014 - The Guppy has Landed!

B377 Super Guppy F-BPPA arrived at 09:30am for a total rebuild.

DAS Air Cargo and Airbus Industries are planning to rebuild and preserve her and will fly heritage flights from Coltishall to Toulouse on Saturday and Sunday starting on June 1st.

bmi baby have arrived!

G-BVKB and G-BVKD touched down on RW22 at 10am and are parked on the light cargo apron whilst they are having a total refit.

Virgin Atlantic Has Arrived!

An unexpected deal has been signed with Virgin to use B747-400's on routes from Coltishall!

G-VROS will arrive at 12:00pm with Rickard Branson onboard for a pre-operations ceremony.

The first route will fly to Las Vegas but there are talks to have a St Martin route too.

VP-BXD and N709AS arrived at 23:50pm!

They were expected to arrive tomorrow but plans have changed and VP-BXD flew from her storage location at Manston Kent International as ATLANTA742 and N709AS flew in to arrive just before as ALASKA209 from Anchorage via Iceland.

DAS Air Cargo have leased an ex Tesis Air Cargo B747-200F through Air Atlanta Icelandic which will cover routes that the 2 B707's will take over once they have been upgraded then she will be moved on to long-haul routes until their first B747-800F is delivered.

Flights will start on monday 28th

Bluebird Cargo will be leasing an Alaska Cargo Boeing B737-400F to opperate domestic post flights for DHL/European Air Transport whick are currently being flown by 2 B727's.
B727 N740DH will be departing Coltishall and is inbound East Midlands Airport whilst N622DH will stay and operate European routes.

The Alaska Cargo B737-400F is planned to arrive tomorrow as Alaska209 and will start flights on Monday.

bmi baby have announced their first 8 routes!

Alicante, Amsterdam, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Jersey, Malaga, Manston Kent and Paris.

The first route will depart on the 1st of May at 8am.

bmi baby have confirmed that two B737-500's will be flown to Coltishall, one will be flying in from Norwich and one from Lasham.

They will be put into short-term storage on the light cargo apron whilst they are upgraded and have a total over-haul.
Flights are planned to start in early May.

DAS Air Cargo have 2 ex PANAM B707-300's arriving within a week, one will arrive for long-term storage but eventually be totally rebuilt and have brand new CFM-56 engines fitted whilst the other will be stored on the light cargo apron and will under go a total rebuild and have a glass cockpit fitted but will maintain the classic "B707" look.

FedEx have also confirmed that their MD-11F and DC-10-30F will be arriving within a week for a photo shoot with DHL and DAS Air Cargo.
FedEx flights will start on 1st May and will mark the start of flights within the Alliance with Cocoa Beech and San Francisco International.

And finally DHL have signed a deal with Airbourne Express(ABX) to lease an ex China Eastern Boeing B767-300 which will arrive next week to be converted into a Boeing Converted Freighter(BCF) and be painted into the new DHL/ABX hybrid livery.

Coltishall International Airport have signed a major deal with Airbus Industries/EADS, the deal will include a new facility and Hanger 2 will become a dedicated maintenance facility for Airbus's UK devision, meaning all Airbus Aircraft in the UK that need maintenance and have a maintenance contract with Airbus Industries/EADS will be flown to Coltishall.

DAS Air Cargo have started flights transporting equipment from Chester Hawarden, Hamburg and Toulouse Blanac.

Coltishall International Airport is officially open!
DHL/Astar Air Cargo B727-200F N740DH, DHL/European Air Transport B757-200F OO-DLJ and DAS Air Cargo DC-10-30F N400JR touched down on RW22 at around 8am.
